Corinna Selby was born in Munich, Germany. She traveled the world, writing travel and dining guides for publishers including Lonely Planet and Thomas Cooke, and settled in New York’s Hudson Valley. She has provided fine pastry catering, wholesale and retail pastries, and taught for a decade – at Hudson Valley Pastry and Different Drummer’s Kitchen locations. After earning an undergraduate degree in translation, Corinna graduated from the Cambridge Culinary Institute.
