Part of the fun of Easter is baking wonderful yeast-dough breads, and in this class we’ll get right down to it! The traditional Easter braided bread has much in common with traditional Challah – they both derive from the same enriched yeast dough. You’ll leave this fun, hands-on workshop knowing that both are nowhere near as intimidating as they look!

We’ll braid a traditional Challah, and then learn how to braid more complicated shapes, like a ten-strand braid and the twisted star braid shown here – so beautiful on any table, and absolutely delicious!

We will also discuss dying Easter eggs with only plant-based coloring.
